What is the procedure for getting a Marriage license?
We will make your license appointment with a State License agent. Licenses are dispensed in several locations around the Island, so we will choose the agent closest to where you are staying and at a convenient time for you.
- Both of you need to appear with simple ID: driver's license or passport will do.
- If you have been divorced, they will ask you the month, year, and place of the divorce. You do not need your divorce paperwork, unless it has been under 6 months.
- The cost of the license is $ 65.00 paid to the State in cash.
- There are no medical tests required and no waiting period.

How do I choose a location since I am so far away?
We are happy to discuss the different sites with you. Our website has detailed and abundant pictures of our different wedding locations - we are happy to go over these with you.
Beach locations now require a State Permit which we will obtain for you before your arrival.
What if it rains?
We have lovely backup locations for rainy days that provide shelter as well as beauty. We are also as flexible as possible about changing time, location and even date in order to provide you with the very best wedding.
How about Photography?
Our Photo Packages are designed to give you the most options and best coverage. All pictures are generally shot in high definition digital unless otherwise requested. You can choose the pictures for your album from a generous selection taken by our highly trained professional photographers. Pictures for the albums are all in 5x7" size with lovely framed albums.
Our 24 picture package is perfect when it is just the two of you or a very small group. Featured in our Island Romance wedding package, all pictures are in 5x7" size. They come with a lovely album and you get to choose your 24 or more from approximately 50 that are taken. A CD of all the images taken as well as extra 5x7" pictures is $300.
36 pictures are suggested if you have a few guests or want extended coverage. This would be an additional $125.00 to our Romance package or is already included in our Island Aloha & Island Enchantments packages. Photo CD with all images (approx. 70) can be purchased at $350.
48 pictures are recommended when you have a group & would like more family and lots of candids as well. This would be $ 250.00 additional to our Romance package or $125 additional to our Aloha packages.
Larger Custom 8x10 albums with added coverage time are available on request.
Island Memories - Our newest photo option! If you are looking for just the CD, this is a great option with a choice of approx. 50 or 100 images from 1 hour of photo coverage. You get the CD plus the proof sheet and all the rights for reproduction.

If I have a Video camera, why would I need Professional Video?
A professional video is very different from a home video.
The Edited Version begins with awesome footage of the Island. It then leads into your wedding. Since the officiate will be wearing a remote microphone, the entire ceremony will be recorded for your friends and family to fully experience even if they can not be present. After the ceremony, the videographer will add more romantic footage of the two of you. The video is then taken to their professional studio. It is put to a soundtrack of music which you can help choose. Your names and date of the wedding are inscribed on the tape. When you receive the video, it will be a beautiful and finished piece of Art.
Unedited Video. In this version, the Ceremony and Romantic footage are done at the wedding, using remote microphone. The video is "in camera" edited, and handed to you on completion in DVD, mini DV or VHS format. $ 350.00
Copies. Copies. Great gifts for parents and those who couldn't come. DVD copies are $60.
How do I choose my flowers?
We will be talking with you in detail about the type of flowers that we can offer. Our website has beautiful bouquets, leis and flower arrangement options that you can choose from. You can also send us pictures from websites, magazines or talk with your local florist for ideas.
How do I book my wedding with Island Weddings?
When you are ready to book your wedding, you can call us at 1-800-998-1548 or 808-828-1548 and we will start a file for your wedding. We will take down all of your pertinent information and start to make the necessary arrangements.
We require a $ 200 deposit which can be paid by check or with a credit card.
Whenever you contact us, we will add to your file so that we will always have your most current information at hand. We will also be available to you by fax or e-mail.
